Balita ko may away ah...nope, hindi sa DLSU - FEU game...iba klaseng kahihiyan yong ginawa nung team manager ba yun ng DLSU team? crap sha...nakakahiya sobra...anyway olats tayo...ibang level na kasi si arwind eh...hindi na amateur yon...pro na yon eh ahah...magaling tlga wala tayong magagawa...pero meron siguro...may nanood kasi na malas eh...at the same time may nanood na pretty girl...hindi nagsasabi na nanonood pla sha haha...lol...so anyway isa lang masasabi ko sa "away" mashado ngang mababaw and kung ako ren, family comes first kahit kailan whatever happens... :D Current Mood: bored Current Music: Kailan - M.Y.M.P. 1:13 am	Sa mga sumusubaybay... haha swerte nyong mga mambabasa...doble kayo ngayon hehe... Chapter IV: She’s All That So Craig got his questionnaire and started to write other information in his booklet when his Nokia 6110 vibrated. It was a text message from Claire. Who is Claire and where did she come from anyway? As we all know, Claire was a transfer student back when she was in 3rd year high school. She came from Westbridge School in Ilo-ilo. She transferred here in Manila because her parents got separated. Being the only daughter, she was taken care of by her mother. His father went to the United States of America and never was heard from again. After three months, her mother died of malaria and soon after that, sad and nowhere to go, she went to Manila to live with her mother’s sister, Tita Annie who has a condo in Mandaluyong. Her Tita accepted full custody of her because they both have no families. Tita Annie is single her whole life and she happily accepted Claire and all of her problems. Claire was only left with enough money for her education. Tita Annie became her 2nd mother. She gave Claire allowance, bought all the books she needed, gave her money for clothes and of course, the basic necessities of a home which Claire thankfully accepted because after all…she is alone. Claire dela Cruz is a beautiful girl. When she entered Colegio de San Agustin, she wasn’t noticed at all…but when she became Big Al’s princess, the flower bloomed. She was the talk of the whole high school. She was the prettiest girl in school. She was the Junior and Senior Prom Queen. She was the girl who you will take home to your mom and dad. That is why all the guys want to court and be with her but she was very faithful to Big Al. She has a long black smooth and silky hair, shiny white teeth, killer smile, smells like heaven, soft white skin, angelic voice, she has the face that when you see, no matter how bad your day is, will still make you smile, she has a 34B-27-30 figure, dresses nicely not slutty, and most importantly, she is very friendly and down to earth. Bottom line: she’s all that! Everyone knows that Claire went on to study Computer Science in DLSU but what everyone didn’t know was what the heck happened to Big Al. Big Al and Claire broke up during the summer of incoming 1st year college. Their relationship ended well because they both know that long distance relationship isn’t going to work. Big Al was USA bound because he was accepted by the Georgetown Hoyas basketball training team while Claire was ComSci bound. They are still friends, of course. LPEP came and this guy, Ryan who was also their block-mate was the first to make a move. Craig not knowing that Claire was a free dove did not do any moves so he was left out to watch disaster part II unfold during his whole 1st term. Ryan was the hunk of S13. Every girl had a crush on him. He was the perfect gentleman. He was her dance partner. They always were together…lunch, dinner before departmental exams, MP partners and all that followed. Claire and Ryan eventually broke up after first year because Ryan was not the intelligent type. He had 21 units of failure. He only concentrated in his love life. After Ryan, another basketball star tried to court her but he wasn’t just his type even if now he is the star player of the Green Archers. She wasn’t bitter about that because she knows that he did not like bigheaded and flamboyant guys. There was this guy that Claire always noticed during her 2nd year while walking and hanging out in Gox lobby. He was his “view” whenever she was in Gox lobby. His name was Greg. Greg was also quite the ladies man. He smokes. Drinks a lot and is always around girls but this did not bother Claire for she knew that there was a good man inside him, maybe, once she gets to know him. Once Greg knew about Claire from his friends, he courted her and they eventually hit it. So where was Craig you may ask? Playing counter-strike, Red Alert 2 and DOTA with his friends and being busy with his school chores because he knew that she had her radio tuned into one station only. Sadly, the good guy in Greg turned out to be a “girl trophy collector”. He only wanted to get into her panties. They broke up before the end of the school year. When she was in 3rd year she decided to focus more on her studies and rest for thesis is coming up. RESM did come and so was Harvey, her thesis-mate. Make a guess what happened…if you are thinking that they became a couple, you are correct! Spending time together and doing things together everyday had a very big impact. Her heart was healed of course for she found a new love in her life, Harvey but there was something mysterious about this Harvey guy that she couldn’t tell. Anyway, they are still together… 1 new message received… Open -> Claire -> Read -> Message: M so sori Craig. I lt u dwn. M nt gna tke d test. Sori. Ty 4 hlpn me btw…God Bless. Gd lck! Chapter V: What Love Can Do To A Person… Craig after reading the text message from Claire took a minute to think…after which, he fixed his stuff and calmly stood up. He walked towards the proctor and gave his final examination booklet and Chemistry final exam questionnaire and left G201. He was strolling by the passageway of Gokongwei to Miguel and vice-versa while calling up Claire. *ring*…*ring*…*ring* Claire (in a soft voice) : hello!?… Criag (confused) : Claire! What happened to you!? Where are you!? … Claire (surprised) : uh…Craig? You finished your exam that fast!?... Craig: I did not take the exam! Where are you!? What happened to you!? Why are you not going to take the exam!?... Claire: Didn’t you get my latest text? I said “scrap my 1st msg. M jz gna b l8 4 d exm”… Craig (in agony) : What!? Nooooooooooo! Holy shit!... To the reader’s, I’m happy to say…that did not exactly happen. I’m just messing with ya’ll. What really happened was this… *ring*…*ring*…*ring* Claire (in a soft voice) : hello!?… Criag (confused) : Claire! What happened to you!? Where are you!? … Claire (surprised) : uh…Craig? You finished your exam that fast!?... Craig: I did not take the exam! Where are you!? What happened to you!? Why are you not going to take the exam!?... Claire (in a caring tone) : Nothing…I’m just not ready to take it…you should really go back and take the exam… Craig: It’s too late for that now…what the hell happened to you!? Where are you!? Please tell me the truth! I did not waste that exam for nothing right?... Claire: Uh… Claire: Something happened to me…you just come over my place. I’ll be here waiting and I will tell you everything… Craig: Okay! I’m coming over right now…wait for me.. Claire: I will…take care Craig… Craig did not take the exam and went straight to Claire’s condo. He knows where Claire lives because sometimes they study Chemistry in her place. It was unit 6189 Amorsolo tower II in Mandaluyong City. It was a tricycle ride from MRT Boni Station to her condo. It is okay with him to go study there because its only backtrack tricycle-MRT-LRT ride until Vito Cruz to Craig’s condo in EGI Taft Towers. It is an easy but tiresome ride but it did not matter. So Craig rode the LRT-MRT route when he thought of Claire. What has happened to Claire that made her miss the exam? He remembers: Claire became different after getting a C.Pass in their defense. He noticed that Claire was kind of unapproachable, looked and dressed differently, her pretty smile was gone…she was not studying seriously and chemistry classes with Craig was over…so he taught maybe something bad happened to them…Claire and Harvey or Harvey did something bad to Claire or Claire might be pregnant! Craig’s mind: “Shut up! She’s smart! She’s better than that!”…”But what happened!?”… It was raining in the morning but it did not stop Craig from going to Mandaluyong. He went down Boni station and took a tricycle ride to her condo. He told the receptionist that he was going to dela Cruz’s…unit 6189 of tower II. He singed in, rode the elevator towards 6th floor, alighted the elevator…walked towards Claire’s door. Ang buhay nga naman...sadyang masaya kung minsan...tapos biglang tratraydorin ka nya at biglang lulungkot ang buhay mo...sometimes you feel you are on top of the world tapos the next day, bagsak na bagsak ka na...that's just life...full of surprises...but how do you get up from a fall? ... anyway...ang ikatlong kabanata...sana nageenjoy ang mga nagbabasa...hehe Chapter III: The Pen of Destiny Craig, snapping back to reality started to write on his final examination booklet, Last name – Pascual…First name – Craig…M.I. – T., then he looked around...she was still missing. While looking around, the guy in front of him accidentally dropped his own pen in the floor space right in front of Craig. So Craig, the gentleman as he is, picked up his black Pilot ball-point pen and gave it back. Craig remembered the same black Pilot ball-point pen that he was keeping inside his drawer in his room. The old black Pilot ballpen that is enclosed in a box with a marking “The day we met…”. It was the start of 4th year for Craig. It was a dreadful year for him considering the fact that there were a lot of projects and it was the year of thinking what course should he take up in college and where to go to and to top it all, to stare at Claire as she and Big Al bagged the title Prom King and Queen. Now he was hoping that a year of frustration should be a new school year of hope. It was not very long that hope finally found Craig. It was not very long for him to think that DLSU was a great university to go to so one afternoon, after his last subject he decided to go to their counselor to ask for a DLSU application form. John did not decide to go with him because he was not really interested to apply in DLSU because the course he wanted was not offered there. So walking alone going to their counselor’s room thinking about what course he would take up in DLSU when he noticed that Claire was also going to the counselor’s room, or he thought she did. Yes! He said to himself because it was true, she was also going in his direction. He was so excited and thrilled when he remembered; he was Big Al’s princess. Tormented by the thought, he still continued. So when Claire was about to enter their counselor’s room, he hurried to get the door for her…she smiled and they both entered the room. Claire: Hi sir, I was wondering if you still have an application form from DLSU… Counselor: Why yes of course, I have a lot…here just sign this paper while I get your form. So Claire searched her bag for a pen when she realized that Al got her pen because he forgot to bring a pen…worried and helpless, she turned back. There was Craig patiently waiting to get his own application form. “Uh, hi, I seem to have lost my pen. Do you have one that I can borrow? Please?”. Craig, suddenly stunned…heart beating faster by the second…”uhh…” (reaching fast in his pocket to get whatever pen is in there) “here!...” She smiled again and wrote her name to the list of the counselor and got his application form. She returned his pen and said “thanks a lot”. He can not believe what just happened. He also got his application form and on the way home riding the bus kept staring at his pen…”she used my pen…she used my pen…she used my pen…” that was the only thing on his mind until the bus stop came where goes down. So he went home…got to his room and put the pen in a safe box. He did not get the chance to talk to her or introduce himself to her because he was really a torpe inside but the most important thing of all…he will not forget how they met for the first time. 12:29 am	I like to move it move it... I like to...MOVE IT! Good movie! hehe...talking about Madagascar...well anyway...I still can't believe myself doing this... Chapter II: She It was the 2nd week of 3rd year high school for Craig. He was falling in line in the cafeteria along with his friend. Looking around the café, when suddenly his heart beat fast…time suddenly stopped (this was the first time he felt that way) and then John, his close friend, smacked him in the head…”hey! The line is moving…can we get a move on? I’m hungry”. It was the first time that Craig saw her. She was a transfer student from some high school in the province. She was a new student. (Craig and John while walking) Craig: Dude, have you ever seen someone so beautiful? Look at her long black smooth hair…her soft white skin that glows in the sunlight…her innocent pretty smile… John: her curves…teka! Sino? Yung bagong student? Craig: ….yep! John: Bakit crush mo!? Yihee! Dude, this is very important…I have to tell you this…It’s just now that I have realized…you are not gay! Criag: Screw you! Hehe John: Kung ako sayo, gagalaw nako bago pako maunahan… Craig: …hay…sino kaya sha? Bakit ngayon ko lang sha nakita?... Craig had shrimp and John had steak. They sat on their usual eating table in the café where all of their buds hang out. She walked by their place going to the food counter. John: Dude, ayan na pagkakataon mo…ilibre mo ng lunch tapos dalhin mo yung pagkain niya sa isang table na kayong dalawa lang… Craig: huh!? Eh paano tong kinakain ko!?...tsaka nahihiya ako… John: Pabayaan mo na iyan! Okay lang yan! Go for it dude!... Craig: shit! This is the first time I’m doing this…you owe me lunch boy… Craig taking a deep breath stood up from his chair…fixed his uniform…wiped his face with his hanky…brushed his hair with his fingers and calmly walked towards the food counter…when suddenly a gust of bad luck… Big Al or Allan, the basketball star player, who averages 20 points 11 rebounds and 6 assists for the high school team last season, swiftly intercepted his path towards the food counter. Craig stopped on a dime and watched as disaster unfolds. Big Al went towards her and offered to pay her lunch and carry his plate. As a new student and having no friends, she did not hesitate to say “okay! Thanks a lot!”. Craig went back to his table, dejected from what just transpired before him, and started to stare at them as they get to know each other while gazing on his shrimp lunch getting cold. John: Dude, its okay…you will have your chance…I know it! 1st quarter was nearing its end and there was a symposium coming up a week before 1st term finals. The symposium is entitled “The Lowdown on Drugs” where the whole batch will attend in the auditorium. Craig knowing about this excitedly said “Yes! Air-con na makakatulog pa tayo wala pang academics!”…upon saying this he noticed that Big Al was now ‘holding hands while walking’ with her. I guess they are now a couple. The Lowdown on Drugs…Dr. Raymundo was boringly explaining what drugs not to use, explaining their effects upon abuse, explaining the seriousness of the situation in our country, etc when Craig started to fall asleep in the back part of the auditorium. Question and Answer portion came, when all of a sudden… John: Dude! Dude! Gising! Craig: Huh!? Bakit? May teacher ba? John: Hindi! Wala! Craig: Ano ka ba!? Kung kailan napapanaginipan ko sha eh… John: uhh…Dude, look! Mr. Raymundo: Yes ms.? …. Girl: uh…Claire…from section D…I have a clarification… Craig: … To be continued… parin hehe... 12:07 am	Unleashed potential? Chapter I: The Last Chance It was the last term for school year 2004-2005 in De La Salle University. The BS-CS Catch 2T5 are all excited because graduation is fast approaching. The people who are delayed are also excited for their friends who will be graduating. Thesis projects are nearing its completion, problems are arising here and there, and late night sleeping was now an everyday life except for one…Craig. Craig was the typical guy who you would love to be friends with. As a matter of fact, he is the guy that everyone knew to be friendly, kind, gentle, honorable, smart, funny, always game, family loving and all those traits of a nice guy. Little did everyone know what is really on his mind. So Craig went to some co-ed high school where he kept his reputation clean, grades average and status single but deep in his heart there is a reserved space. He was accepted in Ateneo and the University of the Philippines both for scholarship, but he did not go to either of them. Instead, he went to DLSU to study Computer Science even if he does not like computers. Why you may ask? Because on the day before high school graduation, he heard from his friends that “she” was accepted and will go to DLSU. So 4 years have passed a lot of studying, machine projects, circuit fabrication, partying and all those crap was finished and it’s almost graduation time for Craig and his thesis-mates until one day after Chemistry class a girl named Claire approached him and asked for his help. His heart beat fast in an instant, time suddenly stopped for a moment, it’s as if he saw an angel and being the good guy that he is, he right away said “yes! Sure! I am glad to help you”. Days turned into weeks and both of them were getting along pretty well with chemistry, of course, and f.y.i. Claire has a boyfriend. Defense came and all CTTHES2 groups got Conditional Pass. Weeks passed, happiness and excitement was in the air, partying was everywhere and then suddenly Craig noticed something different…in Claire. By the way, Claire and her group also got Conditional Pass. She looks different, acts different, suddenly changed her clothing and began to flunk one particular subject which is chemistry. Craig tried to talk to her but she just couldn’t be reached. All of their friends started to worry and all that but they did not know what is going on with her. Things mellowed down and finals came. It was the final exam in chemistry and the last exam that Craig will be answering in DLSU or will it be? 8a.m. in room G201, Craig was putting out his pen and putting aside his stuff when he noticed that there was a vacant chair. He knows all of his classmates and he knows who is missing.
